Katheryn Katheryn Suzy SuzyKatheryn Winnick is a Canadian actor, producer and director from Canada. Winnick was the star of the critically-acclaimed Emmy-winning television show Vikings that was created by MGM, The History Channel as well as won a variety of accolades. Alongside her leading character on Vikings the episode that was directed by Winnick debuted in 2020. Entertainment Weekly stated that her role as "Lagertha may be one of the most captivating female characters on TV." Katheryn has been awarded numerous awards due to her role as the fierce shieldmaiden. Among them are her winning the Women's Image Network Award for the Best Actress of a TV Drama Series for 2018, the Critic's choice Award for the best supporting Actress, the Canadian Screen Award for the Best Performance by Lead Dramatic Actress in 2014, and the Women's Image Network Award for the top Actress for a Television Drama Series for 2015 and 2016, and the Golden Maple Award for the Most Outstanding Actress for on a TV Series. Alongside these highly coveted award nominations Katheryn was awarded the Serendipity Film's Award for Excellence at the Banff World Media Festival in 2015. Apart from these high-profile nominations, Katheryn also received the Serendipity Film's Award of Excellence at the Banff International Media Festival in 2015.
